Welcome and EISy doctrine

Welcome Capsuleers,

My name is Abrzal, CEO of "Alpha Clones and Newbies" corporation. In the year of YC118, I have created this Corp to craft and test various strategies and tactics to make your activities in New Eden more enjoyable. We are focusing especially on improving the life of new pilots and those who has Alpha Clone State, via publication of tested strategies and tactics.

Our membership are by invitation only. Our member are called the Alphas. Each alpha is expected to test our crafted doctrine, strategies and tactics in real situation and give feedbacks to improve them. We are purely reseachers and not teachers. We are not giving classes nor running ops for newbies. Newbies looking for classes and ops are recommended to join Eve University, Brave Newbies, Blue Republic or Red Federation corporation.

To craft these strategies, we are crafting a brand new EIS-y operating doctrine that consist of three goals:

  1. Effective (a.k.a. Getting Things Done): Newbie pilots are expected to participate in activities that she can be effective. For example, if you have Level 1 skill mastery certificates on the ship you are flying, you are expected to run Level 1 Agent missions or equivalent (belt ratting in high sec, etc). You can still be effective running Level 2 Agent mission or anomalies sites, but you will not be as efficient as Level 2 or 3 mastery pilots. Level 3 missions will not be effective for you because you cannot complete the mission or it will take ridiculously long time. In PVP, you are expected to take the role of tackler or E-War and let the damage dealing role for more experienced pilot.
  2. Improve: Relatively more experienced pilots are expected to complete an activity in reasonable result per time spent, such as ISK per hour. One way, is to learn skills to reach Level 3 mastery on the ship you are flying. And then maximize the ship fitting for capacitor stability, tanks and DPS specific to the damage type of the rats your are shooting at.
  3. Sustain: Top alphas, those who reach 5 million skill level are expected to keep New Eden life enjoyable via three F-factors:
    1. Fun: Social and/or variety choices of activities
    2. Fit: Limit fly time less than an hour per work day. So, you can get enough rest and exercise.
    3. well-Funded: Spend the rest of the day doing AFK or Offline activities to get enough ISK to sustain activities in New Eden.
These doctrine can be applied online in New Eden as well as offline too. For example, during offline time when you are at work:

  1. In the morning you are expected to be effective. Complete tasks as many as possible that you know you can complete that morning.
  2. In the afternoon you are expected to pursue long-term improvements. Take calculated risks to save long-term cost, pursue new opportunities or long-term relationship with customer.
  3. In the evening you are expected to be enjoyable (a.k.a. sustainable). Have some fun, take some rest and exercise.
Fly safe!
Abrzal, CEO of "Alpha Clones and Newbies"
